Hi Fellow Travelers!

Welcome to our third installment of our “Why Belize?” blog posts! When Brian and I were searching the Internet and scouring villas for sale all over the world one of our big concerns was the ability to be able to easily communicate with the local people of the place we end up. We don’t speak any language but English (our box of Rosetta Stone: Spanish software is still in it’s unopened box filed under the ‘Someday’ area of the office) which really narrowed down the places available to us! The properties in the United States that fit our needs and desires for the property type that we wanted were seriously out of our price range, which meant that going out of the country was our next option. Enter Belize!

Belize’s official language is English! During our first trip to Belize in December 2016 we only ran into one person that spoke no English. It was wonderful to be able to communicate with the locals and not have the language barrier! The people of Belize are so friendly and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable.

So pack your bags, grab the sunscreen and catch your flight to Belize City (airport code BZE)! A short ride on the water taxi or puddle jumper plane will have you headed to your vacation home on Ambergris Caye – Tropical Dream Villas, where you can vacation like you live here!
